Dear Chicken Crackling lovers. We have news.

Little Bobby Jebb started making his original Chicken Crackling from his home kitchen and soon had to find a place to make lots, and faster. Although this meant he could sell more, he always knew his Crackling deserved better. So now is the time to make the next step - move to our own kitchen and make the world's best Chicken Crackling. Better than you've tasted before, and to explore new flavours.

The bad news? We need some time, and we're sorry that we're out of stock for a while. But as they say, really good things come to those who wait... So please check and for updates.

One day, a man cooked a roast chicken. He thought: "There's nothing new in this." But whilst no one was looking, he helped himself to some delicious bits of crispy skin...

He wondered how he could share this exceptional treat with the world without making Sunday roasts all over the place.

So using selected Grade A, British birds, he created Mayfield Farmhouse Chicken Crackling, and popped them in a shiny bag. Simple. Except it wasn't, it took four years, but that's another story...

They're not best for breakfast or even as a Triathlon training supplement, but are without doubt stupidly tasty, hand made in small batches with no MSG rubbish thank you very much.

So love them, Gluten free of course, as a snack with an (n)ice cold drink, or sprinkled over a Caesar salad...
